NJHS, SCA, and FCCLA, and Tri-M, fill the hearts of our senior community!
On Wednesday, December 15th, the student leaders of Caroline Middle School’s National Junior Honor Society (NJHS), Tri-M music honor society, Student Council Association (SCA) and Family Career Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), were honored to bless the senior community of Bowling Green Nursing; singing Christmas carols, bringing an assortment of gifts, and spreading holiday cheer to all. The Student Council Association presented handcrafted pillows and blankets and NJHS distributed several other gift items, which were received with loving smiles, tears of joy and many thanks from all of the rest home’s patients.
This experience was not only heart-warming for our elderly members, but our students as well. Each of these organizations has a common mission during this Holiday Season and within their organization as a whole, “Be a Blessing to others, by serving your community” and in the spirit of giving, this goal was definitely accomplished on this day.
Happy Holiday’s from the National Junior Honor Society!
