The NJHS participated in the Annual 5K Breast Cancer Awareness Walk, which brought out millions of supporters on Saturday, October 17, 2015. Kara, one of our very own NJHS leaders, dedicated her day to cheering on the walkers, runners, supporters, those that are battling cancer, and the survivors! Thank you, Kara, for dedicating your time to such a worthy cause.
Several of our NJHS students have committed to mentoring 4th & 5th grade girls in Engineering, Math, and Science during the 2015-2016 school year.
They will assist in setting up, distributing material, and facilitating monthly meetings for the entire school year as positive role models. Good job members of the NJHS and advisor Mrs. Baker-Latney.
