Thank you CMS, NJHS for hosting the coin drive to support Caroline’s Promise in the Polar Bear plunge.

This year for September’s service project, Caroline Middle School’s National Junior Honor Society members collected over 2,000 baby items in support of Neonatal Intensive Care Awareness month. Items included diapers, onesies, bottles, soft rattles, books, booties, blankets, handmade hats from local church ministries, mittens, hats, soft music players, and bibs. Also, ALL items included a handwritten personalized letter of encouragement by each member. Baby products and clothes were distributed to parents and their newborns at St. Mary’s Children’s Hospital, Henrico Doctors’ Hospital, Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, Mary Washington Hospital, and to parents of Caroline County that delivered preemie babies in the month of September.
The National Junior Honor Society is looking for students who show outstanding qualities in scholarship, character, citizenship, leadership and service. If your student is currently in the 7th grade has a 3.5 GPA or higher and feels he/she meets the required criteria, please encourage your student to pick up an application. The application packets have detailed information and time sensitive deadline dates.
